Woweee so I got a call a few days ago to say that I've been selected to compete against 7 others for the 2-D round of
Cut & Paste -- Awwww yeah!!! So it's on the 4th April 09, and it's a total honour just to take part. If anyone wants tickets for the event I can get a group discount, so get in touch. I'm gonna be sooo nervous, designing in front of such a huge audience (capacity is over 2000 and it's gonna be on a live webcam) but I guess it'll be a thrill too. Just bought a second-hand wacom pad offa ebay, so I can have a week or so to practice using a digital drawing pad. My last one died a few years ago and I've been struggling with a mouse since then, which kinda sucks when you're left-handed.
